01 THE STORY

As an introvert, music has never been about the spotlight.

The songs usually begin simply — an honest lyric, a melody, a voice, maybe an acoustic guitar. I may share them that way, but I hear them growing into something larger: full-band arrangements, dynamics, texture, and a finished studio sound.

Worship, songwriting, mentoring, family, and ordinary hard work have all shaped the way I see the world. I’m less interested in building a platform than in being useful: helping people worship with sincerity, helping leaders stay grounded, and passing on what is worth keeping.

03 WHAT I KEEP COMING BACK TO

A few things I keep coming back to.

Faith should shape everyday life.

What we sow matters.

Small choices become habits, habits become character, and character becomes a life. I want to keep sowing toward the things of the Spirit — even though the results take time.

Family is a legacy, not a side project.

“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children...” — Proverbs 13:22. The inheritance I care about most is faith, wisdom, character, and the ability to stand on your own feet while knowing where your help comes from.

Hard work is good for us.

Diligence, competence, provision, and learning to do useful things with your own hands build more than a livelihood. They build a person. Proverbs repeatedly honors that kind of steady, skillful work.

Pass it on.

A song, a skill, a lesson, a mistake, a bit of hard-earned wisdom — whatever good we’ve been given becomes more valuable when we help the next person carry it farther.

04 FAITH IN ACTION

Prayer listens. Love moves.

Sometimes the answer
has hands.

Prayer matters. Deeply.

But sometimes someone tells us what they’re carrying, and our first response is, “I’ll pray for you,” when what they really need is a ride to the airport, a meal on the porch, a Saturday morning with a toolbox, or somebody willing to sit with them awhile.

Maybe the prayer and the answer aren’t always separate things.

Sometimes God invites us to pray. And sometimes, while we’re praying, He nudges us to get up and do something.

Faith listens for both.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 · KJV

“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
